A private equity backed, well-established residential property company that specialises in the Build-to-Rent sector is looking to appoint a Lettings Negotiator to its team to support its continued growth.

Placefirst owns and operates c.1,700 Single-Family / Suburban rental properties, with a growth plan to be quadrupled within the next 5 years, having substantial financial backing to ensure these aspirations are met. Our focus on acquiring and developing places and improving neighbourhoods has enabled us to secure off-market opportunities by utilising our USP.

We continue this growth and further build on our established pipeline, which will be generated through the construction of new Single-Family Housing and a blend of acquisition of new and existing portfolios across the UK. With the near completion of our development in Bolton and recent handover of our Halifax development we are now looking to grow our talented lettings team.

What you will do!:



You will provide a fantastic customer experience over the telephone, by email and in person, you will be acting on enquiries in respect of properties across our portfolio and will be dealing with developments and properties in the leasing up phase and when properties become available at the end of the lease period.

Minimising the time a property is empty will be an absolute key diver and KPI for you. Our expectation will be for you to reserve as many applications 'off plan' as possible to minimise the period a property is empty. All the necessary tools and training will be provided to enable you to fulfil this objective.

Using your experience in the lettings industry you will thrive in finding our future tenants. You will then, with the support of the Letting Administrators will ensure they meet our criteria before progressing to the referencing stage.

You will develop a good working knowledge of Placefirst developments, property styles and unit availability to provide the best advice to customers in professional manner. Developing and maintaining our customer database is vital to develop intelligence, reporting and future delivery.

You will bring ideas, initiatives and action to help to maximise occupancy levels and help build The Placefirst brand.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver an outstanding service.

Build and maintain great relationships.

Ensure customer information is recorded accurately with the software system.

Ensure registered applicants receive marketing information regularly.

Act on inbound calls and emails, ensuring you advise on what units are available for reservation and where possible secure a reservation 'off plan'.

Follow up on enquiries that have been made to maximise that potential enquiry.

Ensure applicants meet the referencing criteria before reservation.

Ensure where possible properties are reserved before they become vacant.

Contribute ideas that you believe would benefit the lettings function and will positively contribute to the delivery of the teams KPI's.

To carry out such other duties which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities or as necessitated by the needs of the business.

The person we are looking for;



We are searching for someone who loves talking to potential customers, is passionate about property, delivers a fantastic customer experience and thrives in a target driven environment.

Skills, knowledge and experience:



A good standard of education .

Ideally; experience in the property lettings industry.

IT literate.

Characteristics:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,336.00-26,836.00 per year
