We are a private landlord / developer seeking a reliable and organised
Lettings and Property Administrator
to provide maternity cover for 12 months. The role supports the day-to-day running of our residential property portfolio, working closely with our existing property manager and external letting agents.
This role is ideal for someone with good administrative skills and a customer-service mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Support with general admin tasks such as filing, document tracking, and appointment scheduling.
Liaise with tenants on day-to-day queries.
Pass on maintenance requests and follow up with contractors or the property manager as needed.
Assist in organising property inspections and access arrangements.
Help coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, including completing check out inspections and inventories.
Maintain accurate property and tenant records.
Monitor reminders for property compliance (e.g., safety certificates) and flag to the relevant person.
Assist in tracking maintenance jobs and ensuring completion updates are recorded.
Key Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in property, lettings, or office administration is beneficial but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised and detail oriented.
Confident using email, spreadsheets, and basic software tools.
A practical and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications:
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
