We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality childcare and educational activities in a nurturing environment. The position is paid and suitable for those with relevant experience or qualifications in childcare or nursery settings.
Duties
Plan, organise, and implement age-appropriate learning activities that promote children's development across all areas.
Provide attentive supervision and care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Support children's emotional and social development through positive interactions and behaviour management strategies.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any concerns to inform ongoing care plans.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support each child's individual needs.
Manage daily routines including meal times, nappy changes, playtime, and rest periods.
Lead small group activities to encourage learning through play and exploration.
Uphold health and safety standards in line with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
Skills
Proven experience with children in nursery or early childhood settings, demonstrating strong childcare skills.
A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in early years
Paediatric First Aid trained or willing to undertake the training within 3 months of starting.
Excellent management and leadership abilities to guide both children and team members effectively.
Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach towards young children.
Organisational skills to plan activities efficiently while maintaining a structured environment.
Valid driving licence is desirable foe to our rural location.
After completing a 3 month probationary period the ideal candidate will receive a 200 welcome bonus.
