Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support for children. This role involves working closely with children, fostering their development, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. The Level 3 Practitioner will also play a key role in leading and managing activities, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating effectively with parents.

Duties

Provide high-quality childcare and support to children aged 0-5 years. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's learning and development. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating this information to parents and colleagues. Lead by example, demonstrating effective management and leadership skills within the team. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through excellent communication skills. Support the nursery's operational requirements, including maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the setting. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in early childhood education.

Experience

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent is essential. Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is required. Strong understanding of child development principles and early years frameworks. Experience in management or leadership roles within a childcare environment is advantageous. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential for this role.
