Production Engineering Package/Project Lead - Hertfordshire - Pharmaceutical


About the Company:
We are looking for an experienced Production Project Engineer with a focus on manufacturing equipment to join a large pharmaceutical company in Hertfordshire on a fixed term contract until April 2025. The primary focus of this role will be to lead the delivery of technical equipment and work packages.


Responsibilities:

• Compile complex information to advise stakeholders on the project and process implementation strategy.
• Creation and implementation of processes and procedures.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders concerning project and process implementation strategies.
• Identify and manage risks foreseen by the continuous improvement process.
• Project task management.
• Efficiently communicate project updates and risks.
• Financial management.
• Ensuring machinery and equipment is correctly maintained and calibrated.
• Equipment and process validation.

• Experience managing production engineering projects where the procurement of new equipment is required.
• Experience managing cross functional teams.
• Experience working in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
• Experience effectively managing and communicating with stake holders.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Facility design experience.
• Experience validating new equipment and/or cleans rooms.
• A knowledge of equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Experience working with GMP clean rooms and equipment such as Vial Washers, Sterilising Tunnels, Isolators, Filling Lines and freeze Dryers would be advantageous.
