Job Description
We require a cook/chef to work between our Jailhouse Diner and our Jailhouse Cafe.
You will need to be able to cope under pressure and work as part of a small team. The cafe prepares fresh meals and the American diner has a more fast food menu. Both have a popular cook to order breakfast menu that can be busy.
There are no split shifts but it will include some weekends and you will work as part of a rota.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met. Collaborate with other cooks to streamline meal preparation and service. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and food safety Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices Experience in serving and customer interaction is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere

Pay: 12.21-13.25 per hour
