Job Description

We are looking for a live in housekeeper and child carer for our 4 year old child and our 16 year old child with learning disability. Both children are in school during the day, when you would do some housekeeping or have time off. Hours can range between 40-48 hours weekly with clear agreed time off for your rest or other activities. You would help us with the children before and after school and do housekeeping (cooking, laundry, light cleaning) and have a break during the day. One of us parents would be around as well. You would have at least one weekend day off and one weekday day or two other half days. Typical hours would be 7 am-11 am then 3 pm to 7.30 pm 5-6 days weekly, depending on your preference.

Live in position living in a lovely large room in extension building with bathroom and separate kitchen. Food and household expenses included.

You need to be reliable, have attention for details, enjoy helping others, enjoy cooking, have very good food hygiene and have a kind heart with genuine love for children. Our kids are active and enjoy being outside.

The right person would be already living in or at least present in the UK and have full legal right to work here. We can organise an employment with pension and paid leave, if you wish.
