Job Description
: Live-In Night Porter
Location: Orchard Hotel, Falkirk
Role Overview:
We seek a reliable + proactive Live-In Night Porter to ensure guest safety, provide overnight assistance, + maintain hotel cleanliness. Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
Key Duties:
Monitor CCTV, perform security checks, + manage guest access
Maintain clean public areas + demonstrate a "see it, sort it" approach
Handle guest requests + provide service information
Complete handover logs for day staff
Ideal Candidate:
Self-motivated, conscientious, + able to work unsupervised
Practical with basic maintenance skills (joinery/DIY a plus)
Friendly, professional, + guest-focused
Must provide 2 references + attend in-person interview
Accommodation Details:
Private bedroom with shared bathroom provided
Note: No cooking facilities available. Meal costs are pay-as-you-eat + arranged separately
