About the role



We are currently recruiting for a Locality Support Officer to join our team in Wiltshire on a temporary/secondment opportunity until 1st June 2026.


The Locality Support Officer role is a key role within the Localities structure providing administrative support to ensure that customers are kept at the heart of everything we do.


You will be required to accurately prepare legal documents such as tenancy agreements, assignment, and succession paperwork. Pary of the role also includes processing tenancy conversions for starter tenancies and updating and amending the records in our housing management system.


You will coordinate the Mutual Exchange application process to achieve compliance with statutory requirements and deadlines, ensuring that all legal aspects are met using an in-depth knowledge of the procedure.


Your role will include providing support with tenancy functions such as decants, deceased tenant, hoarding, regeneration, tenancy audits, pet applications, etc.


About you




You will be able to demonstrate the ability to operate at a level of 5 GCSE`s (including English Language and Mathematics) and verbal reasoning at a grade C+ or equivalent.


You will have experience of working in a Customer Service role with the ability to communicate and work with internal and external customers, and colleagues at all levels.


Experience of working in social housing is desirable but not essential for this role.


You will have strong administration skills and ability to multitask and working in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities. This will include the ability to manage multiple calendars to ensure that targets are met and that visits are managed.
