Job Description




Our Client based in Northampton is looking for a Logisics Administror to join there team;

Key Objectives

To carry out all duties in timely, safe and responsible manner in accordance with the current procedures and fulfil all operational objectives to the level expected by the Company.

Duties

Preparing customs clearance advice for freight forwarders

Updating the Import MSS report

Compiling and storing Customs Clearance packs

Raising GRS sheets for upcoming deliveries

Raising GRN\'s for received purchase orders

Updating the item usage report

Scanning and storing documentation into Docuware (For both Purchasing / Warehouse Admin)

Amending our ERP system with supplier updates

Updating Logistics KPI\'s

Checking supplier Packing Lists / Commercial Invoices and storing

Raising Manufacturing Orders for the Warehouse team

Creating new vendors in the system

Processing new part numbers

Lodging Import declarations in ASM Sequoia / CDS

Any additional administration tasks as required

Offer any operational feedback to support improvements to the Quality Management System.

Required Experience and Skills Set

Strong Administration skills are essential, previous experience with an ERP system is desirable.

Previous experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is essential.

Experience with submitting customs declarations would be ideal.

This role requires an organised individual with an exceptional attention to detail and have the ability to work under pressure at times.

Possess the ability to self motivate and work on their own initiative. The position may demand that the individual needs to work independently from the team however, remaining a team player as well.

Ability to communicate effectively both inside the business and externally.

Must have the ability to adapt to ever changing procedures.

To demonstrate flexibility in your approach to new duties by supporting the needs of the business.

This role is initially to cover Maternity leave and will then be reviewed

Hours of work;
08:00-16:15 and 08:00-13:45 (Friday) Flexi hours

Pay Rate;
\xc2\xa312.31p/h - \xc2\xa313.33p/h ( Dependant on experience)
