is a growing local business involved in the movement of vehicles for the Motor Trade. We occupy a large premises near to Loughborough rail station and our busy office staff oversees the team of 50+ sub-contracted drivers who move over 500 vehicles a week.
We are excited to be expanding this team to include another full-time role as a
Logistics and Customer Service Co-ordinator
.
Our ideal candidate would be able to work full time,
5 days a week, Monday-Friday, 09.00-18.00 hrs.
A job share would be considered for candidates only requiring a 2-3 day a week role.
The primary focus of the Logistics and Customer Service Co-ordinator is to
support our driving team
and to
manage communications
with our large customer base.
Key responsibilities include
:
Responding to client, customer, and driver emails
Processing client orders and inputting them onto our bespoke software system
Liaising with customers and vehicle dealerships to facilitate vehicle moves.
Researching time-efficient and cost-effective travel routes using internet tools.
Scheduling collections and planning deliveries for multiple drivers using the bespoke programme.
Dealing with issues such as break-downs and organising recovery.
Preparation of driver work packs.
General Administration.
This is an exciting and fast paced role which will provide a fresh challenge for anyone with existing administrative or logistics experience. Applicants need to have excellent customer service skills including a clear, confident telephone manner as well as the ability to think quickly and logically under pressure. A good knowledge of the UK road networks and geography is also an advantage.
