Purpose of the Role
As a
Logistics & Delivery Planning Coordinator
, you'll play a vital role in planning daily customer deliveries across the UK. Using routing software and working closely with warehouse, customer service, and fleet teams, you'll make sure our operations run smoothly and customers get a great experience--every time.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Route Planning
Build and optimise delivery routes using OptimoRoute and other planning tools.
Balance delivery volume with vehicle capacity to maximise efficiency and service.
Coordinate delivery bookings, updates, and re-plans with customers.

Data, Systems & Reporting
Use TMS, WMS, spreadsheets, and internal systems to process orders and update delivery progress.
Track delivery performance, stock visibility, and route history for continuous improvement.

Customer Communication
Confirm deliveries, update customers about changes, and resolve access or delivery issues.
Collaborate with internal teams on queries, claims, or service escalations.

Team Collaboration
Liaise daily with warehouse, purchasing, and customer support to align planning with fulfilment.
Communicate route details and customer notes to internal drivers and 3PL providers.

Health, Safety & Quality
Follow site safety procedures and report risks or equipment issues promptly.
Contribute to a clean, safe, and organised workspace.

What We're Looking For
###
Skills & Experience
Experience in planning, scheduling, or operations coordination--from any industry.
Strong IT skills--especially Excel, email, and digital systems.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage pressure and multitask effectively.

Desirable (But Not Essential)
Familiarity with transport systems like TMS, WMS, or routing software.
