Trevella Jobs have yet again teamed up with our leading engineering automotive client based in Skelmersdale. They are currently looking for an experienced production planner with a background in the automotive industry.
They are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Production Planning Coordinator
to join their operations team and play a key role in managing customer commitments, material flow, and shop floor planning.Key Responsibilities
Liaise directly with customers to manage the orderbook and delivery commitments. Coordinate raw material procurement and subcontract processes. Monitor shop floor capacity and identify constraints. Work closely with production supervision to communicate manufacturing plans and priorities. Maintain hands-on involvement in inventory control and stock accuracy. Circulate production performance reports and KPIs. Participate in regular sales forecasting and production planning meetings with senior management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Automotive industry experience is highly desirable. Working knowledge of
SAP Planning
is a strong advantage. Proficient inMicrosoft Excel
- capable of creating spreadsheets, graphs, and data analysis tools. Comfortable in customer and supplier-facing roles, including liaising with shippers and logistics partners. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Why Join Them?
