Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced or semi-experienced Machine Operator to join our busy fabrication workshop based at Mains of Mause, just outside Blairgowrie.

As part of our team, you will be working with a hydraulic steelworker unit, operating both the cutting and punching stations. You will be responsible for producing steel fixings used across our steel building projects.

Responsibilities

Operate hydraulic steelworker machinery Using cutting and punching stations to manufacture steel components Working as a part of a small, supportive fabrication team Maintaining a safe and tidy workspace Assisting in other workshop duties as required

Requirements

Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse setting. A practical, hands on approach with attention to detail Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to work independently and as part of a team Overhead crane certification is helpful but not essential - full training and supervision will be provided for the right candidate
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
