The Maintenance Co-ordinator will be responsible for ensuring the yard, vehicles, equipment, and traffic management assets are maintained to the highest professional standard. This role involves coordinating equipment installation and removal, managing vehicle and trailer issues, liaising with external suppliers for repairs, and ensuring all equipment is operational and ready for daily works. The Maintenance Coordinator will serve as a critical point of contact between TM operatives, supervisors, and external repair service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Yard Management:
Maintain the yard to a clean, organized, and professional standard at all times. This includes assisting with barrier stacking & litter picking
Conduct monthly yard audits, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
2. Equipment Coordination:
Plan, organize, and coordinate the installation and removal of specials (traffic management advanced notification boards).
Ensure all batteries are fully charged and equipment is ready for the following day's works.
3. Vehicle and Trailer Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for all van and trailer-related issues reported by TM operatives.
Maintain accurate logs of all vehicles, light, equipment, and trailer issues.
4. Light Repairs & External Liaison:
Coordinate with SRL for all light repairs, ensuring minimal downtime of equipment.
5. Reporting & Communication:
Communicate daily with TM Supervisors regarding all vehicle, lighting, battery, or equipment shortages/issues via an end-of-day report.
Maintain transparent communication channels with operatives and supervisors for swift resolution of problems.

Must be a fully trained in 12D Lantra
Valid CSR card
Computer skills
Skills & Requirements:
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and equipment readiness.
Basic technical knowledge of traffic management equipment, lights, and vehicles is essential.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under minimal supervision.
