Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, as well as proficiency with both power and hand tools. The Maintenance Electrician will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment functionality and supporting overall operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues. Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical components, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting systems. Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless operations across all departments. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all tasks. Assist in the installation of new electrical systems or upgrades as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar role is essential. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering or maintenance are advantageous. A proactive approach to maintenance tasks with a commitment to quality workmanship.
