Qualified Electrician

Location: Bellshill, UK (Multiple sites across UK)

Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: 40 Hours PW 17.84 ph

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Simply Group invite applications from qualified Electricians to join the Develop team.

The Simply Group construct luxury nursing homes throughout Scotland and England and then on completion, operate them under the brand Morar Living.

The nursing homes each an in-situ Maintenance Operative who looks after the day to day requirements of the home. The Electrician will visit each home as required to carry out planned maintenance and compliance and also as required when a repair is needed.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and commercial properties Conduct fault-finding and diagnostic work Ensure all work complies with current regulations and safety standards Complete and maintain appropriate documentation and certification (EICRs, Minor Works Certificates, etc.) Liaise with clients and provide excellent customer service

Requirement of the Electrician:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (preferred but not essential) Full UK driving licence ECS Gold Card (preferred) Proven experience in a similar role Ability to work independently and as part of a team

With the role being in the Care Sector, it is necessary that the Electrician keeps robust and accurate records of work carried out, as records will be subject to audit by third party stakeholders (Care Inspectorate, Care Quality Commission, Local Authorities).
