You will be working within a maintenance team across the company group; this will include a variety of sectors in this role so you must be able to adapt efficiently and effectively whilst working on electrical installations and specialist equipment.
In this essential role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in residential and commercial settings. You will also conduct site visits for our diverse portfolio of solar panel systems.
We seek a candidate with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols, who can succeed both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise your expertise to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations. - Efficiently employ hand tools and power tools to complete projects.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on larger projects to achieve optimal integration of electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols. - Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for engaging and collaborating with team members and clients.
- A full and valid driver's license is essential.
Qualifications (Preferred/Required):
- City & Guilds Electrical Installation Certificate Level 3 or higher.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations. - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualification. - Part P Installation Qualification.
- Inspection and Testing Qualification.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an electrician is essential.
Pay:
- Starting salary of 33,500.00 per annum (dependent on experience; exceptional candidates may receive a higher salary).
