Maintenance Electrician

Join our team and play a key role in delivering excellence and innovation in Hard FM and Technical Facilities Services.

As a Technical Services Engineer, you'll:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and extra works according to schedules and SLAs. Ensure operational effectiveness and reliability of site systems while adhering to health and safety standards. Complete all maintenance tasks and update records promptly, including statutory certifications. Perform fault finding, remedial work, and provide necessary reports on work and equipment. Manage and supervise subcontractors, attend site meetings, and provide on-call site cover as required.

What we're looking for:

Strong health and safety knowledge with a background in electrical engineering, including relevant qualifications (e.g., City and Guilds). Experience maintaining electrical systems such as HV/LV, MCCs, switchboards, generators, and familiarity with BMS and CAFM systems. Proficient IT skills and knowledge of BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations (desirable). Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and remain calm under pressure. Reliable, detail-oriented, adaptable team player with good personal grooming and physical fitness for demanding tasks.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in the relevant subject (Electrical Trade Qualification) C&G 2382-18 (18th Edition BS7671:2018) ideally with C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent

IOSHQualification, CSCS Card and/or Safe Pass or equivalent BS 2391 Inspection and Testing. IOSH or NEBOSH is desirable for the role
