The Role
The role of the Maintenance Engineer is to support all TechPoint properties, providing Hard FM support & also EHS physical compliance. The Facilities Engineer is responsible for following scheduled maintenance, reacting to unplanned failures & supporting all aspects of contractor engagement & compliance.
Maintenance Engineer will liaise & supervise any contractors/third party providers.

Responsibilities
Working alongside all sites to support compliance aspects such as:
Legionella L8 - flushing, dosing & sampling
F-Gas - liaison with contractors & supporting repairs/maintenance
LEV - liaison with contractors & supporting repairs/maintenance
Waste streams & Disposal - prepare & support collections & site issues
Environmental & Safety hazards/incidents requiring physical repairs or improvements
Electrical appliance testing PAT & retention of asset records
Physical 'hands on' repairs & maintenance on all site services & equipment.
Control of contractors - PTW issue/engagement
Develop & implement the maintenance schedule of works, utilising a CMMS system (supported by Group Head of EHS & Infrastructure)
Collaborate with all TECHPOINT sites & ensure priority tasks are conducted in timely manner & with appropriate urgency/escalation as required.
Build productive relationships with (site) local contractors & providers of FM services
Raise purchase orders via procurement as required, ensuring cost effective measures & adherence to budget.
Support plant relocations & equipment installations (FM & SMT)

About you
Experience in Facilities or Maintenance - with electrical bias to 18 Edition
IOSHH
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for building relationships with sites/contractors & controlling safety/spend.
Occasional travel to other sites
Driving license required
