About the role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll play a key role in the smooth operation of our facilities. From handling installations and repairs, to supporting a robust Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme, you'll be central to minimising disruption to our production line and helping us deliver excellence.
What you'll be doing:
Carry out plant and equipment installation in line with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
Focus on solutions to problems to create an environment of learning and continuous improvement
Attend maintenance team meetings to communicate production/ maintenance plans.
Instal and set up new bays, & new and additional plant as required
Co-ordinate with managers and suppliers on the development of new equipment and plant layout to maximise production capacity
Who we're looking for:
You'll have existing experience of reactive and ppm maintenance within an industrial/heavy engineering environment.
It would be great if you also have:
Ability to read and understand Electrical & Mechanical schematic drawings
Knowledge of Pneumatics/or Hydraulics
Experience of working with a Foundry is desirable
Ability to travel to site
