We have a new, dynamic role as a Maintenance Engineer at our site in Milton Keynes. Working as part of a small team you will be servicing, maintaining and repairing, Bar Saw, CNC Machines & other types of machinery. You will also be involved with general building, electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday -Flexible between the hours of 8am-6pm.
Key Responsibilities
Main Accountabilities
:All aspects service repair of Bar Saw , CNC & other types of machinery including set up and operation of various machines
Raising all maintenance issues and accurately recording of all details on the computer system
Promote continuous improvement processes to minimise downtime & productivity in all operational processes.
Fault finding
Ensure conformance to Health and Safety operating regulations for employees, visitors and self whilst engaged on company business.
Assisting contractors with related duties

Qualifications, Experience & Skills
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias, due to the presence of electrical cabinets on our machinery that require ongoing maintenance and repair.
Essential:
Electrical / Mechanical qualification level 3 or Machine maintenance qualification or equivalent
Experience of reading technical, mechanical, electrical drawings
Understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
Self-motivated, reliant, diligent, analytical and numerate.
PC Literate.
The ability to understand and use all types of hand tools & testing equipment equipm
Desirable:
Formal engineering qualification or engineering apprenticeship
Understanding and operating control systems
Ability to use all relevant areas of manufacturing computer based control system and all its supporting requirements
Machine Maintenance skills applicable to the type of equipment operated
A working knowledge of computer windows based applications
