Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Ecoglass Ltd in Norwich. This role is vital to ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently, directly contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality glass products.

Responsibilities

Electrical & Mechanical support - assisting with the installation of new machinery and equipment as needed. Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime during repairs -Fault diagnosis, maintenance and responding to breakdowns Routine maintenance on glass barrows & slot karts Other repair jobs on premises, including building maintenance, plumbing, etc. Tasks to be carried out on machines, such as cleaning filters, changing saw blades, etc. Working with and supporting the rest of the maintenance team. Help and assist with fabrication. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues as they arise. Would need to be flexible around working time. Possible weekend/evening emergency callouts on rota with other engineers, once experienced. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout maintenance processes.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 Electrical with mechanical bias or equivalent Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Excellent troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical systems. Previous experience of the glass/window industry preferred but not essential

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
