Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a full-time, permanent position in Redditch.

We're on the hunt for a proactive and reliable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a technically challenging role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a range of machinery and equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults Support installation and commissioning of new equipment Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and ensure smooth operations Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

Time-served Engineer with a recognised qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent). Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment preferred. Strong experience in both mechanical and electrical disciplines. Knowledge of PLC fault finding (Siemens/Allen Bradley advantageous). Able to read technical drawings and work independently. Excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
Salary - 37,5000 / annum

Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 15:30 and Friday 06:30 - 12:30 (guaranteed overtime - 10 hours per week)
