Maintenance Lead

Role Overview: We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Maintenance Lead to supervise our Maintenance department. Here more info about the role

Key Responsibilities: Assist the Chief Engineer in managing and coordinating daily maintenance operations across electrical, mechanical, plumbing and general building services.

Carry out hands-on maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring all areas of the hotel are kept in excellent condition.

Supervise contractors and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports and statutory documentation.

Support compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations.

Keep plant rooms and service areas tidy, organised and compliant with safety standards.

Collaborate with other departments to minimise downtime and disruption

Requirements

Proven experience in maintenance or facilities within a hotel or similar environment.

Painting skills preferred.

Strong technical and hands-on skills across multiple building systems.

Organised, reliable and proactive with great attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when required.

Commitment to health and safety, sustainability and guest satisfaction.
