We are seeking a skilled maintenance team member to join our team. You must have experience as a builder.

You will be part of a really good team. We don't expect you to be able to do absolutely everything, as when one team member is more experienced jobs can be delegated accordingly.

The company owns a chain of care homes, restaurant, stables and is currently building properties. The company has been around for nearly two decades, so it is a well established entity. Job security is important and given our length of being established then its clear that its a long standing position for the right person.

The salary is negotiable and there are yearly bonuses on offer. The team are like one happy work family and the atmosphere at work is outstanding.

Since the onset of the company we have an excellent retention of staff and are recruiting due to expansion of the company.

You will work Monday to Friday and one Saturday a month. You may be required to take the on call when someone is on holiday. This is a rare occurrence.

Ideally experience is preferred around - Plastering, General Maintenance, Tiling and Carpentry.

Experience:

- Proven experience in a similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of different types of plaster materials and their applications
- Familiarity with masonry work and carpentry skills is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints or drawings is preferred

Skills:
- Proficient in using power tools such as drills, saws, and sanders
- Knowledge of roof construction and repair techniques
- Ability to weld or perform basic carpentry tasks is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create smooth finishes
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials
