Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled

Manufacturing & Dispatch Operative

to join our manufacturing and logistics team. This role is a key link between the manufacturing process and the distribution of parts and finished goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, assisting in production tasks, and ensuring products are prepared, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely.

A

valid forklift licence

is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts to safely move raw materials, components, and finished products around the site. Support production processes, including assembly, machine operation, and quality checks. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch in line with schedules. Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of stock movements and completed work. Adhere to health & safety procedures and company policies at all times. Assist with stock control, inventory checks, and replenishment of materials. Keep work areas, machines, and warehouse space clean and organised. Collaborate with colleagues in production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
Skills & Experience Required

Valid forklift licence (mandatory).

Previous experience in a manufacturing or dispatch role. Knowledge of safe manual handling and working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow instructions, work to deadlines, and prioritise tasks. Good level of attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic IT or warehouse management system (WMS) knowledge is an advantage.
