The Natural Dispensary/Hania - Market Stall Assistant & Driver

Are you passionate about good food, enjoy meeting people, and hold a Class C1 (or above) driving licence? We're looking for a hardworking, dedicated team member to join us in delivering delicious cheese and excellent customer service at local markets and through our wholesale service.

Part time 18.5 hours per week (approx.) Friday: 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM and Saturday: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM Salary: 12.60 per hour Contract: Permanent role Location: Based near Stroud, with travel to local markets Closing Date: Midnight on 7th August 2025

About the company:

At Hania, we're well known for our curated cheese selection and friendly, knowledgeable service. We run busy stalls at three weekly markets and supply to community shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs.

About the role:

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys early starts, food, and great conversations with regular customers. You'll be responsible for driving our cheese van to market, setting up our stall, and serving with enthusiasm and care.

You will be responsible for:

Drive the cheese van to market and set up the stall (involves light to moderate lifting) Serve customers in a friendly and confident manner Maintain stall cleanliness and hygiene throughout the day Prepare stock for the next trading day upon return to base Assist with occasional vehicle cleaning (typically on Saturdays) Monitor stock levels and communicate when items need reordering Participate in a monthly deep clean (approx. 2 hours)

Friendly and approachable in all customer interactions Confident when speaking with members of the public Able to create a welcoming and positive atmosphere Enjoys helping others and providing great service

Qualifications and skills you have:

A valid UK driving licence (with Class C1 or above) is essential for this role, as it involves transporting goods to and from market locations and setting up stalls across various sites Basic numeracy skills required to support everyday tasks of the role Food hygiene certificate (desirable, but training can be provided)
