Job Title: Market Stall Assistant with Van Driving Responsibilities

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Customer Service Assistant with van driving responsibilities to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our company van to various market locations within South West London, setting up and dismantling market content, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving: Safely operate the company van to transport goods to various market locations within South West London.

Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload market content, ensuring all items are securely packed and unpacked.

Setup and Dismantling: Set up and dismantle the market content at each location, ensuring a professional and inviting market stall.

Customer Interaction: Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing information about our products and services.

Order Taking: Accurately take food orders from customers, ensuring all details are correctly noted and communicated.

POS System: Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process payments, ensuring all transactions are handled smoothly and accurately.

Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.

Flexibility: Adapt to different market locations and schedules as required by the business needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.

- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred.

- Comfortable driving a van and navigating through South West and West London.

- Ability to lift and move heavy items for loading and unloading.

- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

- Proficient in using POS systems and handling cash transactions.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints calmly and efficiently.

- Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments and schedules.

- Team player with a positive attitude.
