We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Market Stand Assistants to help us bring the authentic flavours of India to the bustling crowds at Borough Market and Southbank Centre Food Market. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of London's thriving food scene.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Market Setup & Pack Down:

Efficiently setting up our market stall before service and packing it down afterwards. This involves lifting and moving equipment.

Customer Engagement:

Confidently engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering questions about our menu with a smile.

Cooking Support:

Assisting with basic food preparation and cooking tasks under the guidance of the team.

Exceptional Customer Service:

Delivering a consistently high level of friendly and efficient service in a fast-paced setting.

Maintaining Cleanliness:

Ensuring the market stand/stall is kept clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times.

Adherence to Policies:

Strictly following all food hygiene, health and safety policies, and HACCP guidelines.

Who we're looking for:

You are a friendly and outgoing individual with excellent communication skills. You are confident in talking to people and providing excellent customer service. You can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You are reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. You are able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. You have a good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices (training will be provided). You are physically fit and able to handle the demands of market setup and pack down. Previous experience in a food service or market environment is a plus, but not essential.
