York Minster is seeking a Marketing and Communications Officer.

York Minster is one of the world's most magnificent cathedrals, welcoming hundreds of thousands of people from across the globe every year. The cathedral is looking for a strong communicator who is able to translate strategy into actionable plans to drive footfall and revenue generation in a location that enjoys a multi-faceted market position as the north of England's preeminent church, one of the country's most popular visitor attractions, and as a busy, diverse events venue.

You will be a crucial member of the team delivering a range of activity covering the full marketing and communications mix, utilising the latest technologies, tactics, and trackers to generate leads, tell evocative stories, and measure campaign performance.

We are looking for someone with:

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create high quality, compelling content for print and digital media

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, meet objectives and deliver campaigns on time and on budget

- Resilience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the team's work to support and assist as required
