Job Overview


We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in social media management and public relations within a professional environment. The successful candidate will assist in developing and implementing social media strategies, engaging with our audience, and enhancing our online presence.

Duties



Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and messages, responding in a timely manner to foster community engagement. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative campaigns that align with our brand objectives. Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform content strategy. Support the analysis of social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest improvements. Help maintain the organisation's online reputation through effective public relations strategies. Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).

Qualifications



Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail. A passion for social media trends and digital marketing strategies. Previous experience or coursework in public relations or communications is advantageous but not required. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to changing environments.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From 100.00 per week

Expected hours: 16 per week
