An exciting opportunity for a creative, resourceful individual to learn on the job as a marketing assistant in a fast-growing UK specialist manufacturer.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will quickly gain experience across the marketing mix, from digital marketing to events, through communications and account-based marketing. You will be responsible for updating a range of online systems and supporting sector and product specific campaigns as we reinforce our position as the UK's leading supplier of timber fire safety doorsets.
The role is based in Adwick Le Street, Doncaster but will include travel to our other site at Birmingham as well as to occasional events and trade shows.
As the right-hand person to the Marketing Manager and a key part of the in-house sales and marketing team, you'll need to be an upbeat team player, with natural communication skills at every level, keen to gain professional knowledge and build experience for a career in marketing. You will also need to be task-oriented, a systems native, effective at administration and a natural with social media. Ideally you will have graduated in a marketing-related qualification; you'll certainly be creative and commercial.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a monthly social media content calendar, creating and scheduling content for channels including LinkedIn and Facebook.
Create segmented email campaigns for a customer base of around 20,000 contacts
Manage content for the company website, including updating certificates and uploading blog posts
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns
Collate and analyse performance data, including website and social media analytics
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis
Assist with marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities
Support the creation of marketing materials including brochures, presentations, and product sheets
Maintain and update marketing databases, CRM tools and budgets
Liaise with external agencies, printers, and suppliers as needed
Provide general administrative support to the marketing team
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Comfortable with social media platforms and content scheduling tools
Understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and analytics
Proficient in Microsoft Office and design tools (Adobe Suite would be an advantage)
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail
Enthusiastic and eager to learn
Team player who's also comfortable working independently
Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-changing environment
