Our growing New Forest-based design and marketing agency is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our friendly team and work across both client and in-house projects.
This is a full-time, hybrid working role, ideal for someone looking to develop a career in marketing.
You'll either be a recent marketing graduate or have 1-2 years' experience in a marketing-related role.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent organisational skills, strong writing abilities, and a passion for social media, who is looking for an opportunity to develop broader marketing expertise and knowledge while becoming an integral member of the team.
The role will involve a variety of marketing tasks, including:
- Social media scheduling & monitoring
- Build and send e-newsletters and email campaigns
- Help plan and organise events
- Create and manage marketing plans
- Maintain and update websites
- Write content for various platforms (blogs, case studies, articles, newsletters, social media)
- Plan and organise video/photoshoots
- Contribute to SEO efforts
- Liaise with clients to ensure the smooth running of projects
- Respond to client queries
- Support the Directors with planning and admin tasks
- Help shape and implement digital marketing and content strategies that build brand visibility and audience engagement
Experience
- Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs/Sheets.
- A good working knowledge of all social media platforms, in particular LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X.
- Experience with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar.
- Demonstrable ability to write engaging copy.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Squarespace.
- A knowledge of design packages such as InDesign and Photoshop would be beneficial, but is not essential.
- Experience of working in a customer-facing role, in any industry, is essential.
This is a hybrid role, with three days spent in the office expected and two days of home working each week.
Access to your own transport is essential due to our semi-rural location. There is plenty of free parking on-site.
