The Role



As a Marketing Assistant, you'll play a key part in supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of marketing campaigns, retail activations, and live brand events.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you'll gain valuable experience across multiple marketing disciplines -- from event setup and campaign execution to social content support and on-site brand engagement.

You'll work closely with our marketing, creative, and events teams to ensure every project runs smoothly, stays on brand, and achieves its objectives.

Key Responsibilities



Support the planning and execution of retail activations, brand experiences, and live marketing events. Assist in the delivery of marketing campaigns -- including event logistics, promotional materials, and social media activity. Help maintain brand presentation and visual merchandising standards across all activations. Provide on-site marketing and customer engagement support during live events. Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless campaign delivery. Support content creation, including photography, video snippets, and social updates from events. Contribute to marketing reports, campaign insights, and data collection to measure performance and ROI. Manage stock, samples, and promotional assets as needed.

Essential Skills & Experience



Strong communication and organisational skills. Confidence engaging with customers and representing brands professionally. A keen interest in marketing, events, and experiential brand work. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Based within a commutable distance to Birmingham (on-site role).

Desirable Skills



Experience in marketing, events, or brand activations. Knowledge of social media marketing, content creation, or digital campaigns. Understanding of retail environments, merchandising, or customer experience. A passion for creative marketing, event production, or brand engagement.
