Job Description

Purpose of the Role

To support the delivery of SQEP's growth strategy by executing high-impact marketing activities across social media, branding, and events. This role will help streamline workflows, amplify brand visibility, and help ensure consistent messaging across all external-facing platforms.

The role is on-site at the SQEP offices at the Bristol and Bath Science Park, with flexibility to work up to two days per week from home. The role is a full-time position, however we would be open to a part-time arrangement for the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities:



Social Media & Digital Branding Support



Assist with supporting the management of SQEP's LinkedIn presence, including content scheduling, post creation, and engagement tracking.

Assist in collaboration with creative partners to help ensure brand consistency in visuals and tone.

Monitor trends and competitor activity to inform content strategy and boost visibility.

Website support



Assist in collaboration with creative partners to help ensure SQEP website remains current and on brand.

Assist with content creation (e.g., employee spotlights, capability showcases).

Support the publication of thought leadership articles and client success stories.

Track campaign performance and assist with monthly analytics reports.

Marketing Campaigns / Brand reinforcement



Support the creation and execution of targeted marketing materials.

Assist with draft / edit of content for promotional materials.

Support brand redesign and reinforcement.

Event Coordination



Assist in planning and delivering SQEP's presence at key industry events.

Assist with logistics, promotional materials, and branded assets for exhibitions and events.

Support liaison with event organisers and internal stakeholders to help ensure smooth execution.

Administrative & Workflow Support



Assist in maintaining the marketing content/ SM calendar and approval workflows.

Assist the Head of BW with scheduling, briefings, and stakeholder coordination.

Help ensure timely delivery of creative assets and campaign milestones.

Skills & Experience



Essential:



Minimum A level qualifications

Interest in brand awareness and growth

Basic copywriting and content creation skills.

Proficiency with LinkedIn, and basic analytics tools.

Good organisational and multitasking abilities.

Desirable:



2+ years in a marketing, communications, or events role.

Exposure to defence, engineering, or B2B sectors.

Familiarity with event planning and sponsorship coordination.

Familiarity with brand management and visual identity principles.

A DBS and Security Clearance check will be required for this role.

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year
