An exciting opportunity has become available to join the team here at Carnoustie Golf Links as a Marketing Assistant.
This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week (normally Monday Friday, 9am-5pm).
The ideal candidate will have a degree in either advertising or marketing and 2 years experience in a marketing role. The candidate should also be able to demonstrate strong time management, planning and multi-taking skills and have a meticulous approach to their work, ensuring high-quality and accurate work in all marketing materials and campaigns.
Working under the Brand and Marketing Manager, the key duties of the role include but are not limited to:
Contributing to the creation of traditional and digital marketing strategies
Implement Marketing Strategies as directed
Assisting in gathering and analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies
Build upon a database of media contacts
Actively monitor all PR coverage for Carnoustie Golf Links
Assist with all communication creation and distribution as required
Entering and organising marketing data, and assisting in creating reports and presentations to evaluate campaign effectiveness
Arrange and organise photography and videography as directed
Support with content creation
Produce Press Releases and general communications as directed
Coordinating promotional activities
Work with Brand and Marketing Manager to become Brand Guardian
Own, maintain and publish communication and marketing emails over a variety of databases
Daily problem solving and idea generation
Other duties may be assigned, including but not limited to executive office administration, presentations, research and assisting with regular reporting.
