Now, we're looking for a

Marketing Assistant

to join us - someone eager to learn, ready to get stuck in, and excited to help us share our story with the local community.

The Opportunity

This is not a "corporate" marketing role - this is a

hands-on learning role

where you'll be involved in almost every part of marketing a real business. You'll work directly with our Director, learning how to plan, create, and measure campaigns that actually bring clients through the door.

You'll gain experience across all areas of small business marketing, including:

Social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) Email newsletters and client updates Local advertising (magazines, events, sponsorships) Case study creation and patient success stories Website and blog updates Event marketing and community outreach Simple Canva design work (training provided) Helping organise and promote local health events and workshops

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Hungry to learn

- you don't need to know everything yet, but you must be curious and proactive

Creative and resourceful

- you enjoy writing, posting, or coming up with ideas

Organised

- you can keep track of multiple small projects at once

Comfortable with tech

- you're happy using tools like Canva, Meta, Mailchimp, or similar (training provided)

People-focused

- you understand that great marketing is about helping people, not just promoting a service
Bonus points if you have:

Experience creating social media content (even for personal or university projects) A qualification or interest in marketing, media, or communications A portfolio, blog, or examples of work you've done (optional)
