ABOUT THE ROLE



We're on the lookout for a Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role in a small, fast-moving marketing function where you'll have the chance to get involved in a wide variety of projects across digital, content and events.

You'll help us grow the presence and impact of Product Guru's platform and events -- including Huddles, our highly popular pitch events, and RoadTrip, our new mobile retail experience -- through creative content, market research, and campaign support. You'll work directly with the Head of Marketing & Digital and collaborate with other team members across the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Support the Head of Marketing & Digital with content development, brand messaging and campaign execution. Create and schedule engaging content across social media, email marketing, and website. Assist with storytelling and campaign ideas that spotlight emerging brands and buyer success stories. Carry out market research and trend-spotting across categories like food & drink, beauty, home, pets and gifting. Develop subject matter expertise in challenger brands and consumer trends. Draft and edit marketing assets including press releases, email copy, web pages, and video scripts. Support event marketing activity and help coordinate content and logistics for Huddles and RoadTrip campaigns. Work with the data team to analyse campaign results and improve performance. Engage with our brand community and buyer network, contributing to a clear and consistent brand voice.

You're curious, proactive and excited to work in a growing startup where no two days are the same. You're organised, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines while juggling different priorities. You have experience in social media marketing, content creation and email marketing tools You bring some experience in marketing and want to build on it in a real-world, fast-paced environment. You've got an eye for trends and love keeping up with what's new in social media, retail, or branding. You can work with MS Office Package seamlessly Excellent written and verbal communication is a must -- bonus points if you've written content or created posts for a brand or campaign.
