Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and organised

Marketing Assistant

to help drive footfall to our garden centres and increase engagement online and offline. You'll support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, assist with social media and website content, and help bring our brand to life.
A

genuine interest in plants and gardening

is highly desirable, as you'll be helping to showcase seasonal plants, gardening tips, and plant care advice to inspire our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in creating and scheduling content for social media, email newsletters, and the website, with a focus on seasonal plants and gardening topics. Support in-store promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns. Help design and produce marketing materials such as posters, flyers, and point-of-sale displays. Coordinate with suppliers and local media for advertising opportunities. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities. Ensure all marketing reflects our brand and customer-focused ethos.
Skills & Experience

A keen interest in marketing, social media, and retail.

Good plant knowledge

or a strong enthusiasm for gardening, with the ability to learn and share information on plant care and seasonal selections. Creative flair with a good eye for design and detail. Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Confident communicator with good writing and editing skills. Experience with design or social media scheduling tools is an advantage but not essential.

Pay: 27,100.00-28,000.00 per year

Horticulture: 1 year (preferred)
