Battles started in 1832 and is an award-winning manufacturer and leading provider of all the major animal health, equestrian and pet care brands worldwide. 193 years later, we are still going from strength-to-strength and continuing to carve our name as the first-choice equestrian wholesaler.

We manufacture and export our own range of brands to livestock owners across the world, as well as fulfilling contracted manufacturing for other brands within the industry.

Due to expansion, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Marketing Assistant to join a friendly, busy team who run several equestrian brands. This varied role would suit someone with good equestrian knowledge and a can-do attitude.

Role responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:

Working alongside the marketing manager to implement an annual marketing strategy, both online and offline B2B and B2C marketing Social Media (content planning and creation, posting/scheduling, responding to messages/comments where applicable) Writing and circulating press releases around new product launches, sponsorship etc. Graphic Design knowledge would be advantageous Writing product descriptions, website copy and proofing Help co-ordinate marketing materials, POS, video production, brochures etc. Website co-ordination Photoshoot attendance Trade stand attendance and co-ordination General marketing and admin duties

Candidate:

Highly organised and motivated Good time management and the ability to prioritise work Excellent communication skills Keen eye for detail Ability to work independently and within a team
Working Monday - Friday 9:00am - 17:00pm

Full UK Driving Licence preferred

This is an exciting role that will suit someone with a passion for horses and a flare for marketing.

Good equine knowledge would be advantageous.

One year marketing and social media experience preferred but not essential.
