We're looking for a brilliant Marketing Assistant to join us here at ry. The Business Development and Marketing Team are responsible for promoting RY, the work we do and for generating new business opportunities. Through our marketing, we ensure that our clients and potential clients know what services we provide and how we can help them achieve their objectives.


Through our business development activities, we gain a good understanding of the market we work in and carefully map prospective clients, identifying where there may be appetite for our services and the budget to procure these services.


Our Marketing function is central to the success of RY.


Reporting directly into the Marketing Manager and working with the wider marketing team, the Marketing Assistant will support the execution and delivery of RY's marketing plans, engaging with multiple stakeholders from across the business, as well as an external network. This varied role primarily uses strong literacy and project management skills, as well as good knowledge and understanding of social media, to support initiatives that promote RY's positioning, talent, expertise and thought leadership to raise a positive external profile in the marketplace and generate new business opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

Support the management of RY's content plan - including social media, ry.com content, PR coverage, event attendance, awards, company updates, and promoting the people of RY.

- Assist with the creation and management of case studies - liaising with the creative team to make sure they are presented well and follow RY brand guidelines and are thoroughly checked over by our team.

Support our awards process from research, calendar management, team collaboration through to online entry. Oversee the administration of ry.com, create new content and update ry.com using Umbraco.

- Assist the marketing team with events, running online, in office and at external venues -such as roundtables, conferences, talks, client networking events and creative events.

Understand and support the BD & marketing team with the overall strategy to help achieve goals and objectives.

Requirements

Ideally you'll have previous experience in a similar B2B marketing role. Your written communication is well structured, informative, error free and professional. Able to adapt written style across various marketing materials and platforms. Familiar with marketing tools, CMS and CRM systems. (Umbraco, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Monday.com, Google Analytics). Capable of managing upwards even the most senior people at RY to ensure they are delivering on their commitments. Knows when to ask for help. You are eager to contribute to meetings, frequently offering ideas, asking questions and ensuring colleagues deliver on their commitments. You are an energetic self-starter and quick learner with a 'can-do' attitude who is willing to get stuck into projects. You are an enthusiastic team player who relishes developing good working relationships with colleagues across different areas of the business, particularly with senior colleagues. A strong advocate for the team, taking pride in the work you produce. * You are an excellent listener and interpreter of what is being said in meetings.
