Role Overview



The Marketing Assistant will work alongside the Marketing Manager in delivering high-impact marketing across property portals, campaigns, creative, and automation. The role is responsible for supporting both day-to-day delivery and longer-term campaign planning and requires the ability to manage a varied workload, contribute ideas and help improve lead generation and conversion across Ocasa's portfolio of over 30 buildings.

Key Responsibilities



Maintain and optimise listings across Rightmove, Zoopla, SpareRoom, RentCafe Ensure listing quality (copy, photography, availability) is high and consistently branded Coordinate with the Lettings Team for accurate pricing and availability updates Manage website content through WordPress, including editing building pages, uploading imagery and updating marketing copy Coordinate with the external website agency for larger-scale changes such as layout edits, technical fixes, or new page creation Maintain consistency in tone of voice, branding and messaging across the website Support ongoing improvements to the website's user experience, especially for lead generation and conversion-focused journeys Identify gaps in unit photography and coordinate photoshoots or visual updates for underperforming listings Assist with SEO hygiene on WordPress pages (meta titles, keywords, headings) Own the execution of paid and organic marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, and internal campaigns) Monitor UTM tracking, lead flow and cost metrics, making data-led suggestions for improvement Support campaign ideation for priority buildings and low-occupancy regions Lead on weekly and monthly marketing reports: leads, CPL, CPMI, viewings, and move-ins Track campaign ROI by platform and region Flag trends and help shape marketing focus based on building performance and occupancy needs Draft, adapt or proof content for emails, ads, listings and campaign banners Manage asset requests with internal teams or designers (e.g. banners, brochures, signage) Keep the website, listings and digital signage updated with new content Act as brand guardian across listings, signage and digital content, ensuring consistency with tone, design and messaging Own delivery of workflows and automation through HubSpot Build, test and schedule email campaigns and sequences in HubSpot to support lead nurturing and tenant communication Help test and improve tenant journeys across enquiry, viewings and onboarding Manage small internal campaigns or seasonal pushes (e.g. move-in offers) Draft and schedule internal announcements (e.g. tenant app messages, RentCafe updates) in line with campaign and occupancy plans Take ownership of small projects, from brief to delivery, including:
o Portal refreshes
o Brand refreshes
o Competitor reviews or mystery shops
o Content calendar coordination

Experience and Qualifications



Demonstratable marketing experience, ideally with experience in property Confident working in HubSpot, WordPress, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics. Where existing experience on these software packages is not available, a thirst to learn quickly is required. Comfortable writing copy, briefing designers and working with multiple platforms Strong Excel/Sheets skills for reporting and campaign tracking Proactive, organised and confident owning tasks independently
