Are you a highly organised and proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for marketing? SFG20 is looking for a

Marketing Assistant

to join our dynamic team and kick-start your career! This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad experience within a fast-paced B2B environment, specifically within the built environment sector, with plenty of room to grow your responsibilities.

While this role offers the flexibility of being remote in the UK, candidates should ideally be within a commutable distance of Peterborough for essential in-person team meetings.



What you'll be doing:

As our Marketing Assistant, you'll provide crucial support across a wide range of marketing activities. Your main responsibilities will include:

Campaign & Digital Coordination:

Assisting with scheduling and maintaining email marketing campaigns and social media posts in HubSpot, helping with website updates, and supporting our video content on YouTube.

Events & Partner Marketing:

Supporting the planning and delivery of webinars, trade shows, and industry events, helping to coordinate event collateral, and assisting with communications with our partners.

Internal Marketing & Brand Management:

Helping to maintain our internal marketing SharePoint page, assisting with the SFG20 brand and sales asset portal, and liaising with external designers.

Planning & Administration:

Supporting the maintenance of campaign schedules and providing essential administrative assistance to ensure efficient daily marketing operations.

We're looking for someone who has:



A strong interest in starting a career in marketing. Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. Clear verbal and written communication skills. A proactive, self-starter mentality, eager to learn and contribute to a collaborative team. Comfort with using standard productivity tools (like Microsoft Office).

What would be a bonus (but not essential):



A degree or equivalent qualification/experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Any previous exposure or experience in a marketing, events, or communications support role (this could include apprenticeships, work placements, or even volunteer work). Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, social media for business, or content management systems (CMS) - even if it's just from personal projects or college work. Industry recognised marketing certifications (e.g. HubSpot Academy, Google Analytics, or LinkedIn Learning courses).

This role is perfect for a college or apprenticeship leaver looking for their first proper step into a marketing role. If you're ready to learn, grow, and make a significant impact on our marketing efforts, we want to hear from you!

All candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK. We are unfortunately not able to offer sponsorship. Documentary evidence will be required.
