Job Description

We're recruiting a diligent and organised Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing Team. In this important role, you'll be instrumental in growing Platts brands across all digital channels as part of our wider marketing strategy. We're looking for someone with a proven track record of success in a similar role or for someone looking to kick start their career as a recent graduate in a related field.

You will work closely with the Commercial Director and the Marketing Manager across multiple channels and brands, with opportunity to play a pivotal role in the success and future growth of the Platts Group of Companies. You'll be a confident communicator - both internally across departments and externally at tradeshows and events - with creative ideas to bring to the table and have an interest in social media and marketing trends.

Responsibilities and duties will be varied, and key tasks will involve:

Scheduling social media posts across multiple brands and platforms and manage content and customer queries via the platform. Assisting with creation of social content, including video creation, idea generation and copy writing. Writing blogs for multiple brands, considering SEO principles and keyword research whilst maintaining brand voice. Conduct competitor analysis and trend analysis, reporting on results. Support with booking, preparation and attending tradeshows. Update and maintain content across various websites. Collaborate on internal communications, including generating and writing content for a staff newsletter. Support on supply of print and promotional materials, including content creation, requesting POs and liaising with printers. Support with content creation for email campaigns and lead on scheduling emails and automated workflows, monitor performance and report on results. Maintain and regularly update the companies CRM system to hold accurate customer and lead data.
