Marketing & Business Development Assistant.

This position offers hands-on experience across a variety of tasks vital to the smooth operation of the business, including marketing, business development and logistics.

You must be proactive, intelligent and a hard-working individual, looking to join a small team of experts where you can expand your skills.

Ideally with an interest in working within the Defence and Law Enforcement Industry.

The role would suit a practical, enthusiastic and motivated individual, with strong organisational skills, someone who enjoys multitasking, you will coordinate with the management team and engage in planning according to the needs of the company.

The Candidate must be diligent, discreet, and professional, with a high respect and understanding for Client confidentiality.

Marketing:



Develop and execute the creation of impactful marketing and sales materials, marketing strategies and campaigns to increase brand visibility, drive sales, and promote products or services.

Create targeted email marketing campaigns to build engagement, to drive leads and conversion to sales Develop, plan, and execute social media strategies (LinkedIn) Create engaging content, including graphics, photography, video, and written posts Collating and developing marketing materials for Catalogue / Brochure / Flyers production Support exhibitions, open days, and promotional events Maintain brand consistency across all communications

Business Development:



Responsible for identifying and approaching key potential clients to develop new business, and to build working relationships to leverage further opportunities.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales-ready leads. Identify and pursue new business opportunities across existing and emerging markets to support the next 3-5 years business growth. Support priority sectors research, such as new market routes and trends to enable the business to improve effectiveness in service delivery. Build strong, lasting relationships with customers, industry partners, and internal teams. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide strategic decisions. Support product development by gathering customer feedback and market intelligence.

Minimum requirements:



Experience in a lead generation, research, or business development Strong research skills with a sharp eye for detail Strong copywriting and content creation skills Confident using social media management and analytics tools Basic photography, videography, and editing skills Brand Development Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic growth. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ideally a background in aerospace and defence engineering, or technical sales. A proactive, solution-driven mindset with a creative approach to challenges. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects Creative thinker with strong attention to detail Strong work ethic, professionalism, and respectful of confidentiality Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel Understanding of design tools, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office
