RIV Worldwide Ltd is a UK-headquartered freight forwarding company with operations across the UK, India, Canada, and the US. The company provides international air, sea, and multimodal logistics solutions and is an IATA-accredited agent. With growing demand across international trade lanes, RIV is strengthening its commercial and marketing capability through this role.
Role Purpose
The Marketing & Commercial Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing RIV Worldwide's commercial and marketing strategy, strengthening the company's market presence, building client and partner relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role will also support RIV's expansion into priority growth areas such as e-commerce logistics and new international trade lanes, ensuring the company is well-positioned to capture emerging opportunities in global markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote RIV Worldwide's freight services across air, sea, and multimodal solutions.
Lead commercial negotiations with airlines, GSAs, shipping lines, and forwarding partners to secure competitive rates and capacity.
Manage and expand client relationships, ensuring service excellence and identifying opportunities for growth.
Contribute to pricing strategies and margin management, ensuring competitive commercial performance in line with company targets.
Monitor budgets, margins, and revenue performance to ensure commercial targets are achieved and sustained.
Oversee the company's digital presence (LinkedIn, website, newsletters) to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new trade routes and business opportunities.
Drive business development campaigns with a focus on international trade lanes.
Identify and develop services tailored to the e-commerce sector.
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and case studies to support client acquisition.
Collaborate with operations to align commercial strategy with service delivery.
Report regularly on sales performance, KPIs, and revenue targets.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Requirements
MBA in Marketing, or Business or a related field(or equivalent qualification).
Proven experience in sales, marketing, or commercial roles, ideally in logistics, freight forwarding, or international business.
Strong track record in client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue growth.
Experience with international markets and trade development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and CRM platforms.
