We are looking for a creative and driven Marketing Executive to join our team and help us grow the Albert Bartlett brand portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience working in a marketing team based in Central Scotland managing major campaigns on a national level. Through this role you will gain exposure to all elements of the marketing mix from NPD to advertising (including TV, Radio, and outdoor). You will work with leading creative and media agencies across the UK who are responsible for supporting the delivery of successful brand and marketing strategy and activity for the Albert Bartlett brand.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with other members of the brand and marketing team to support activity across Albert Bartlett, Jersey Royal, and Scotty Brand.
Plan and activate brand & marketing activity for Albert Bartlett emerging brands such as Guidis and The Capocci Man.
Collaborative working with agency partners to fulfil planned marketing activity.
Work with Marketing Manager and creative agency on the strategy, planning, creation, and scheduling of content and copy across both organic and paid social media activity.
Content creation and graphic design, particularly for some of the smaller brands in the portfolio, such as Guidis and The Capocci Man.
Build engagement and reach on social, whilst ensuring relevant brand messaging and tone of voice are observed.
Work with agency to monitor and react to questions, comments, and other engagements on all social channels.
Attend photography and campaign shoots on an ad hoc basis.
Remain up to date with new social media developments and trends and ensure necessary changes are implemented and new opportunities appropriate to our brands are exploited.
Work with agency to ensure that activity is measured appropriately on a monthly and quarterly basis and benchmarked against competitors.
Reporting to senior management on activity as appropriate, including recommendations for future activity based on analysis of performance.
Support with ambassador and creator activity.
Working with Communications Manager and agency on communications strategy and the delivery of relevant activity across consumer and trade PR.
Working with Communications Manager to support employer brand strategy and deliver internal activity.
Plan and schedule e-newsletters for despatch to brand databases on a quarterly basis or when required, ensuring that these are aligned with brand and marketing activity.
Support and coordinate on website content, including relevant product and recipe updates.
Support with the delivery of relevant community engagement, sponsorship, and events.
Support Brand Managers with retail activity such as store visits and sampling.
Manage consumer inboxes with day-to-day correspondence of enquiries.
The role may require occasional travel, evening, and weekend work.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape, including organic, and paid social media, content creation, email marketing, and analytics.
Proficiency social platforms Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Highly organised, with the ability to balance projects under tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail across all activity.
Self-motivated, a team player, and able to communicate effectively.
Comprehensive IT skills, including Excel, Word, & Power Point.
Effective problem solving & numeracy skills.
UK driver's license.
Desirable:
Higher education qualification in marketing/communications or experience in a similar role. We welcome entry level graduates to apply as training will be provided.
Experience working within the food industry.
Skills in appropriate graphic design packages (E.g.: Photoshop or Canva)
Photography skills.
