Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our dynamic team in Bideford. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient handling of materials and components, contributing directly to our commitment to quality and precision in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the warehouse. Manage inventory by accurately loading and unloading materials. Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory levels. Perform materials handling tasks to ensure timely delivery of components. Assist in shipping and receiving processes to maintain workflow efficiency. Conduct heavy lifting as required while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role. Valid forklift certification desirable. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Team player with good communication skills. Driving licence desirable.

Working week - Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00; Fridays 08:00 to 12:00

25 Days holiday plus bank holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.25-12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
