Position:

Material Handler

Reports to:

Production Supervisor

Role Overview:

Based at our Lurgan site and reporting to the Production Supervisor. The Material Handler will be responsible for ensuring all raw materials, WIP parts and finished goods are processed correctly and efficiently.

Key Accountabilities:



Liaising with Team Leaders / Managers to achieve optimum supply chain efficiency. Moving material from stage to stage of each process in a safe, efficient and effective manner Ensuring procedures for designated storage systems are adhered to Housekeeping will play a major part in this role. Kitting of works orders Stock checks / counts General forklift duties as required.

Associated Responsibilities:



Be able to demonstrate initiative. The individual must be committed to their role and be willing to carry out overtime when required by their line manager Candidates must be flexible in their approach in this role and will be required to carry out shift work when necessary. Must demonstrate they are a team player.

Experience and Training:



Order kitting General forklift duties Low waiting times Excellent housekeeping Adherence to storage processes

Essential Criteria:



Up to date FLT licence Previous experience in a Warehouse or Yard environment Experience in loading and unloading HGV vehicles.
